# wow - is it an evil snow kitten, marked
with the head of an omnipotent sphinx, whilst sporting a jaunty green goateee?
if it's not, it looks like one, as i saw one of those last week, on a bus near a shopping centre in the south of England.

# yes
they are lurking about at the moment.
I took the photo of this one sitting in the corner of my room.
I had to shoo it out with a broom. It left a nasty stain on the furniture.

# was that one
bigger or smaller than a spider?
(, Fri 23 Nov 2001, 18:19, archived)
# Bigger
about 5 times its size. It was quite frightening.

# next time, snap at it with your
lobster claw. It's the only way.
See if you can get the omnipotent sphinx in the eye. It weakens him, temporarily. of course.

# But its.......
...evil! I dont think I could! Hence why I used a broom. If it was smaller, like the usual ones i would have caught it with a glass, slid a bit of paper under it and thrown it out side. But this one was not normal!
It's eyes are too evil! They are just too red!

# in that case, i think it was a queen
you should check outside, there might be a nest.
get an old pair of tights, some cheese, a tuning fork and small piece of haddock. put the tights over your head to protect your face (they mustn't know it's you). Hit the tuning fork (a b will do fine). when you see them coming, rest the ladder up at someone elses window - throw the haddock to the top of the ladder and they should go after it, into someone elses house. There they will make a new nest and leave you in peace. Take the cheese, put it in a sandwich, and have a rest and a snack. you'll need it.
I hope that helps.
good luck, and good night.

# I dunno......
I would sleep uneasy knowing that those things could be next door! They have sharp teeth! I know they would chew there way back behind the bread tin. I already have markings there from a previous attack of adam ants.
Those were a real bastard to get rid of!
