Lots of things are better than the kooks.I agree the current spate of mediocre indie is pathetic, but that doesn't mean I'll be buying any My Chemical Romance.

yeahme, normally, but gallows are pretty good, not great but worth a listen if you like it raucous. hardcore crossed with metal and punkish overtones.
