According to an old sciemce teacher of mine, if you pushed an elephant off a building it would explode when it hit the ground due to the forces involved (Physics in action!)
Throw a spider out of a first floor window, and it will come to no harm, similarly a mouse would be OK albeit a bit shaken. A cat will right itself, and land on its feet but a human will break several bones. Elephants meanwhile... you are left with a big mess
