You might want to see if .gif format works better though, it's generally more suitable for this type of image (i.e. few colours, mainly text)

I don';t seem to be able to get it under 100k, even using.gif or .png. Photoshop doesn't seem to have quality options when saving as .gif. Well, it probably does, but I'm being dur

Best bet is just to resize it down a bit, you won't lose any useful detail that way but the file size will drop a LOT
