my first step would be to detonate a nuclear device in the upper stratosphere, causing an electromagnetic pulse to destroy their electronic entertainment.

Then the little shites would have to go out and play, therefore becoming less fat.

the utilisation of a nationwide network of faraday cages would shield grown ups from losing the use of their electronic equipment.
