Yeah.
Not so many as externals. I was just trying to equate the price to an external. If he was to spend the money on an internal he'd easily find 1TB for that cash.

Yeah.
if he can live without sticking it in his pocket then I can recommend this. I have 4 of them and 3 of the previous 320gb models ( which I pad about a fiver more than the current 500gb price just over 12 months ago )

got a seagate freeagent sitting on my desk as a paperweight
was broken out of the box, but cos i moved from uni back home and then had a load of more important shit happening over the summer i never got it replaced. might try and get it replaced (still within guarentee period) and then flog the new one on ebay
