TJ - My bro in law came 'round with his vid projector at the weekend and we watched a few films. Am I the only person in the world who found the first Lord Of The Rings film boring and tedious and dull?

Yeah, I know what you mean. But it's good to see an
American SF film that has a mildly intelligent plot. Differed from a book a fair bit (Philip K Dick), but then so do Bladerunner and Total Recall... Tom Cruise has all the acting ability of a blunt pencil, does he not?

I found it dull too
but then, I'd seen Brotherhood of the Wolf the week before (fantastic film, watch it if you can).
I love projectors : ) We had one at a party once and watched classic kids' stuff - Button Moon, Chorlton and the Wheelies, Bod, the Flumps, Will o' the Wisp etc
