Not necessarily with the ink jets. Maybe a movable type. Would make a great viral marketing system - leaving muddy URL prints in fields and dog poos and things.
Edit : Anyone remember that bicycle/dot matrix printer idea?

I figure it would actually work and be vaguely legal on either boots or bike tyres as long as you used bio-degradable food colouring instead of ink or paint in the tank?...
