in the style of the poster from a different film.
What's so mysterious about that?

Is usually derived from the juxtaposition of the two films. So. Putting a traditionally sombre or sad deep film in the style of some pixar kids thing, or vice versa. Or a documentary in action film boxart.

Take a look at the first few pages of Popular for some ideas if you're really that confused.
