I was at uni in Leicester in '93.Leicester had just sold the most 3D classes for the BBC's telethon so Terry Wogan and Mr. Blobby were dispatched to congratulate the city.
On the same day my SU bar was selling pints off at 50p as it was closing down for the Christmas Holidays.
Fortunately due to my drunkeness and presence of world class swearing I did not make it to TV.
