When the Christian god arrived at their shores 'Thor blew out his beard' as a rustic challenge to this upstart, but the Christian god would not dare agree to have a scrap, for he feared the God of thunder. True stuff. Consult the Icelandic sagas; Bjork probably got some sort of prophetic mention as the god of mental people or something.
Anyway on that learned, slightly celestial note, i'm off to have a wank over a picture of the goddess Aphrodite I found in a book in the library
