That was long time ago. 2004? 2005?
Then he had Britain's Got Talent, America's Got Talent, The Apprentice (USA), took over from Larry King Live on CNN, Piers Morgan's Life Stories, a column in GQ, a Daily Mail motoring column prior to being made editor at large (whatever the fuck that means). All that just from memory, no googling. So in the gutter morally he may be, but he's certainly looking at the stars, and making a shit load of cash while he's at it. His career has been on a steady upward trajectory since leaving the Mirror. Sadly and inexplicably.
