weirdley enough i was told by the tech bod
to take my shrinker stocking of and to put on what looked like a leg from from a pair of tights.
reason being the mesh of the shrinker would give false surface reflections due to the density of the weave, however my bare but hairy leg would confuse the scan head and so it was on with the tight leg to get the best return for the highest resoloution for the 3d model.
