It's more silly use of social media.
While I agree it is ridiculous to take this guy to court, I find it astounding that people still don't realise it's a very bad idea to make a joke like this in pubic. I see in a Metro article that he said he just wanted to annoy his girlfriend and give his mates something to laugh at. If that is the case, he should have posted it so only his mates could see it. How many more poor sods have to find themselves in court for an off the remark made in jest before others stop posting shit publicly?
