This is a normal post i do hope it was
a dead colony. if not they just murdered 1000s of ants. impressive yes, but at what cost. plus the voice over was annoying. best bit is 4mins in!!

it is amazing, but in typical human fashion we annihilated a massive colony of ants - genocide pesticide.

I just think of those poor little buggers going about their business & then a massive rush of concrete comes flooding through their home

The results are amazing, but there's a morbid element certainly, as the very process which here amplifies our fascination with the intelligence and teamwork of the creatures produces results which inherently represent the mass-murder of the same subjects.

It is a stunning insight, but is it worth it? Certainly it's worth posting the video, given that it has been done and we can't change history. If only computers and lasers could have been used instead, or something.

edit: and then he goes and fucks the acorn up, too.
