Hehe I like that idea
Can't take the credit for the animation though - the snowmen were puppeted and then I removed the wires in post. Much quicker :)

Nope
It was 99% little puppets, some actually filmed in situ and some filmed on green screen and compositied in. The only 3D models where in the shot where the sledge ploughs through the snow scene and there are some heads that fly off really quickly
So now you know :)
