ButtonsA friend of mine tells the story of a classmate who was deathly afraid of buttons. Or maybe button holes. She absolutely refused to wear anything with buttons on it and if you teased her by flashing a button in her face she'd at least flinch or scream "Get it away from me!" to the amusement of all.
