Hullo bender's
Early to bed, early to rise, makes t3h flebmaster bored as shit waiting quietly for the rest of his household to wake up. What does the day hold for you? I'm going to get fucking ruined.
(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 7:38, archived)
Alright.
Might go for a pint and a fry up.
(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 7:39, archived)
Do that

(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 8:33, archived)
well I've just finished work and I'm having a few lagers, so I'll probably end up day drinking

(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 8:03, archived)
Good news, Turd-o
I'm going to be turbo-wankered before the sun sets
(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 8:33, archived)

I'd best get cracking

(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 8:50, archived)
It's nippy out , take a coat

(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 8:57, archived)
Got to take a little tupperware with me so I don't walk around stinking of weed

(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 9:09, archived)
If you are staying south of the river the spoons at elephant and castle is like the bar in star wars, aliens everywhere

(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 9:49, archived)
I was in there before hawkwind last christmas, it's horrible

(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 9:57, archived)

(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 8:30, archived)
Have fun m8

(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 8:34, archived)
also, I learnt that GYBE recorded a new album in the last year
so Imma listen to that
(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 8:52, archived)
They're incredibly dull live, hope their records are better

(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 9:10, archived)
I enjoyed them live, but I like that slow shoegaze atmosphere occassionally

(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 9:45, archived)
What nerd shit are you doing today?

(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 9:24, archived)
Trying to make two arduinos communicate wirelessly (433mhz)
I also need to box up your fuel tank properly cos the bloke sent it to me in a thin box wrapped in clingfilm, as if that was enough protection.
(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 9:46, archived)
There's no great rush, I've put the tank from the other one on for the minute as it's not built.
People love to ship parts poorly, I got an abs pump unit from a bloke in just one of those padded post bags. Thing was completely broken when I arrived.

My brother is getting in to arduino stuff, he's trying to get it to work some of lighting cues for him so he can slope off for a coffee.
(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 9:49, archived)
In my experience, I'd never trust them for a proper industrial application
They seem to crash at the oddest moments for no reason. But they're a decent little toy, and the shit I learn actually helps me at work so it's sometimes worth the frustration.
(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 9:54, archived)
Fair enough, it would just be triggering switches during a play, but if they crash at odd times it'd be no good.

(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 10:41, archived)
If it's only for a play and it's nothing complex, a few hours shouldn't be an issue
I've read of people using them in 2Can-esque ways, measuring temps and humidity in greenhouses all through winter with no issues.
(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 11:05, archived)
He is fairly tech savvy, so he'll figure it out.
The more he can automate, the more complicated the light shows and sound triggers can be without having to pay for a second person to sit on a second desk.
(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 11:16, archived)
I feel kind of bad that I work as an engineer in a cutting-edge tech firm
and yet have never felt the slightest impulse to mess around with Arduinos or Raspberries or Loganberries or any of that jazz.

My brother-in-law is quite into it and he's got a humanities background, for crying out loud.
(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 12:16, archived)
I did this with my pi

I got a bit ruined last night, I'm supposed to be going out on thr motorbike with some proper bikers,
But I think it might be shit so I may just stay home and watch the rugby.
(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 9:23, archived)
Might go into B&Q for some tungsten-tipped screws

(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 10:06, archived)

(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 10:58, archived)
Yes. Had a decent breakfast and a wander up the river and it's cleared my hangover right up.
Feeling pretty positive about today.
You?
(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 11:02, archived)
Had a proper lie in while they were at their swimming lesson, so I feel slightly more human

(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 11:04, archived)
I thought having no kids would mean getting lie ins all the time,
But then I met someone who wanted a horse and now no morning or evening is safe.
(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 11:18, archived)
And you try hitching a wagon to a child
they do NOT like it

One of the chaps is called Wilbur, but everyone calls him bur.
Surely you'd call him willy?
(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 12:09, archived)
I certainly would
I knew someone named Brian who preferred to be called "BJ". Go figure.
(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 12:34, archived)
The woman that worked in the shop next to my local was called BJ, I'm led to believe it was her actual name.

Going into tahn this afternoon to pick up the annual guide of what's hot and what's not.
Then going to a bar to make friends and influence people. Sport and/or biking and/or booze will be involved in the interim.

I'm gonna go and see that Hidden Figures film.
Might have a couple of pints first though.

I feel a bit rough but didn't drink a ludicrous amount last night. Not fair really.
(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 14:33, archived)
just got a new compilation cd
there's a nice fat bud waiting in the house for me, so after getting my hair done, i'm gonna get stoned and listen to loud music
(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 14:36, archived)
I've treated myself to the new JAMC album.

(, Sat 18 Mar 2017, 14:40, archived)

it's got disturbed, iron maiden, metallica, ac/dc, saxon, accept and even basement jaxx on it. it'll piss the neighbours off no end
