I found b3ta a while back through the 'scared boy' animation that was featured in a newsletter from www.Brokensaints.com, which is a great online flash comic book.
things I've submitted to be featured on the b3ta main page [i submitted them before the days when the newsletter was the end-all] that never made it are:
