And later I found that...
When I was 16 the only job that presented itself to me was working construction as a basic laborer.

This entailed moving piles of trash, compacting earth, digging through mud puddles, waddling in sewage to "find pipes", and jackhammering concrete that had already been thrown away.

Years later, having dinner with the owner of the company, I found that my father had intervened and asked that I be given the worst jobs on the site, things not even migrant workers laboring for almost no pay would do.

That was excellent for our relationship.

i can...
dislocate my shoulders and place my arms behind my head, followed by a jumping motion which we have labeled "the bunny."

» Where is the strangest place you have slept?

fetus?
i'm an architecture student, so i can basically sleep anywhere at any time to catch up from not sleeping for days on end

i have been known to fall asleep sitting, standing, walking, in conversations, praying in front of large groups, or even using power tools

strangest yet:

i fell asleep one time in my studio (entirely usual), and upon standing up off the floor i saw, out the window, a 15'-0" tall, bloody, dead fetus

thought i was dreaming, but it turned out to be an abortion protest on the lawn

sex cream?
On the way home from a retreat I was sitting in the bus listening to people talking.
Two girls next to me were saying they needed sex cream very badly.
They were talking about sunscreen.
