re: Capitalism is boring
there is a bit of graffiti on the Portway in Bristol where I go running stating this. the response is particularly Bristolian in it's bluntness. "FUCK OFF THEN".
Made me giggle all the way home.

preparing for a night out with another deviant friend
we printed up a couple of photoshopped "JESUS SAYS, PAPA DON'T PREACH" pics with the beardy fella on the cross dying for our sins.
and some blu-tac
because the route home, after 10 pints each, involved a Luther-esque gesture of sticking them to every church door on the way home. How it didn't make the newspaper of the village I lived in I'll never know.

oh part time degree, I hardly knew ye
I am currently doing a degree part time through work (all paid for) as I dropped out first time out and was glad of the chance.
the next assignment is due on Monday and I have decided to piss off to France for the week and get mullered on the local cider and watch football with the assignment being an afterthought.
6 litres of the stuff later I'm sat online trying to find the actual brief for it half-heartedly whilst continuing to drink the evil peeve.
so, if anyone fancies explaining finance and accounting for sales people let me know.
in the mean time I will continue to drink Breton cider until sunday night when I will overdose on high strength coffee and turn in a sweat-soaked effort at 11:59am on Monday.

an oil painted outline of a knight and his maiden
when we moved into our victorian terrace in the traditionally "gritty" bit of Bristol, once home to seafaring types we chipped the scabby old woodchip off a wall upstairs to find the aforementioned oil paintings on the plaster.
seriously, wtf.
