Playing trivial pursuit on xmas with her family, my sis on laws team gets the question 'What is the capital of Germany?' Its her mum to answer. She says 'oh do you want me to give you a hint, mum?' Sure.
"Ok, you eat them with your Xmas dinner!" Puzzled looks all round. Eh? choruses the rest of the room. "you eat them with your xmas dinner! sprouts, you know!'
"do you mean Brussels?" someone replies "Brussels isn't the capital of Germany!"
"oh?!" sis laws replies "Well, what is it then?"
Her mum replies "Its Berlin."
"Berlin? Berlin? Is that a city?" comes the reply "I thought that was just a wall."

fax machines
where I used to work, one day, we kept getting this same fax letter through over and over for about an hour - I called up the lady that was faxing it over to us to let her know that there must be a glitch with her machine only to be told that yes - that was right she was trying to send us a fax, but she didn't think her fax machine was working and was confused as to how we had received her fax as every time she put the bit of paper in the top, it kept coming out the bottom. nnnngggggg.
