: HOUSE GYMNASTICS
  DIY Spiderman goes ape

Spencer Harrison has created a new form of
  exercise. He writes, "it's a cross-breed of
  yoga, breakdancing, climbing and gymnastics
  in a domestic setting."

Basically that means clambering around your
furniture, like you do when you're drunk.
That said, there are some pretty impressive
  moves on show.

  Do try this at home.

: WIN A DATE WITH WEEBL
  Pie for two

Jonti has become an Internet superstar due to
the success of his Weebl and Bob animations.

Now he's looking for a lovely lady to share
  his millions with.

Will you be the lucky one? Upload your photo
and find out. We'll be reporting on how it
goes in a few week's time.

: RESCUE THE POLAR BEAR
  Using a penguin

Ryan Carlson has produced a nerve-wracking
game of skill and adventure using regular
  messageboard characters Fluffy the penguin
  and Furtive the bear.

You need perfect timing to negotiate the
Arctic moat full of ravenous kittens.

We're impressed by the unusual gameplay.

: WHAT B3TA PEOPLE HAVE BEEN MAKING THIS WEEK
Ladies, Goths, Sex rap, Paedos, Beards & Ninjas

  >> Lady flash video <<
Despite using the most minimalist techniques,
Amy Beth's sentimental animation gave us the
biggest laugh of putting the newsletter
  together. Absolutely preposterous.
http://www.supah.com/flash/ladymovie.html

  >> Goths vs. Robots <<
The latest from Matazone's fertile brain is the
continuing adventures of a little goth girl.
See her defeat robots with nihilism.
http://www.matazone.co.uk/little_goth_girl_and_the...

  >> Sexually explicit rap <<
New Jersey rapper MC Paul B is an inventive,
ribald lyricist. Judging by this Flash video,
he also likes sex. A lot. Chaoskitty has matched
all the ladies mentioned in the track with pics
from the web. We like it.

  >> Paedo Quiz <<
In the UK our celebrities' reputations are being
trashed with kiddy porn accusations. B3ta editor
Rob has chosen to handle this issue in the only
way he knows how. By making a quiz.
http://www.b3ta.com/nonce-or-babysitter/

  >> Goodbye Mr Beard <<
Chaps will understand this. You haven't shaved
for a few weeks. It needs to go. But why do
it all at once? And why not photograph your
progress? And send it in to b3ta? Thanks Casey.

  >> Ninja Video <<
"I've made a ninja movie", writes Simon
Panrucker, "Watch or I'll come round your
house and deck you with my nunchucks. It will
  make your face bleed." Quite.

: SITES IN BRIEF
Stuff we like that wasn't made by our mates.

  >> Fake boobs quiz <<
There's been many a fake tit quiz on the
internet, but the good bit about this one
is that there are hundreds of pics and you
can keep playing for ages. Yay!
http://www.fakeornot.com/index.asp

  >> Tricksy Jumping Game <<
This space-themed platform game took us by
surprise with its unusual and innovative
  interface. It's difficult and pretty
  challenging. For us, at least.
http://www.superdudes.net/games/interface_escape/p...

  >> Icon War <<
Ever wondered which of your computer icons is
the toughest? This cute little animation aims
  to show you.
http://www.divstivs.plus.com/iconwar/

  >> Groovy tile thing <<
This is neat. You can draw tiny tiles to use
as the wallpaper on your PC. Will keep you busy
if you're of a design bent. Or very anal.
  (Doesn't work on macs.)
http://www.tilemachine.com/

  >> Plastic Babies <<
When doctors are training to doctor they're
not allowed to practice on real babies. They
use these nasty synthetic ones. The photos
  are rather macabre.
http://www.medicalplastics.com/neonatal.html

  >> Fat people eating <<
Look, it's a page of scantily-clad fat people
eating! This will put you right off having an
afternoon snack, unless you are part of the
  site's specialist audience.

: B3TA IMAGE CHALLENGE
Results from "If Adverts Were Honest"

Each week we run a competition to test your
creative skills. We set a challenge and you
open Photoshop and mess with our heads.

Last week we wanted honest ads:
http://www.b3ta.com/challenge/advertisement/

It was a fantastic challenge with over 750
entries, many of which were picked up by
visitors to the site, and emailed round the
  world and back again.

We gave b3ta boarder Slim the mammoth task of
judging the hundreds of entries - here are
  his 3 faves.

  Slim writes -

#1 "Got Milk. Quirky, funny, and refreshingly
different. It goes well with his Frosties
     advert too. (Monkeon)
http://www.b3ta.com/board/662948
http://www.b3ta.com/board/660671

#2 "Just do it. Simple and effective. This
might end up in your mailbox. I also liked
     his phone advert. (Lumpbucket)
http://www.b3ta.com/board/647677
http://www.b3ta.com/board/647883

#3 "Peperami. This tickled my funny
     bone. (Dutchbird)"
http://www.b3ta.com/board/648408

  >> This Weeks Challenge <<

This week, B3ta boarder "itwontbeeasy" gave us
the suggestion, "The Cutting Room Floor:
Deleted Scenes From The Movies "

: WHAT HAPPENED NEXT?
  Follow-ups on previous stories.

  * SNOWMAN MEDIA PENETRATION - last week we
showed you a snowman made by a b3ta boarder.
Look! It's now on the BBC. Fame!

: STAR IN NEXT WEEK'S ISSUE

Make something cool and tell us about it. If
you are in it then people will see your stuff.

Things we'd really like to see include

  * Quizzes. The tricky bit is thinking up the
idea. Go for a walk. Think about the ones
that worked. Question why they were successful
    Then get busy.

  * A new way to explode stuff. Get creative
with petrol and a video camera.

  * Money. We can't seem to find any on the
    internet.

  Send contributions to http://www.b3ta.com/mailus/

BTW: If you've sent something in that hasn't
been featured then don't be put off - we look
  at everything you send us.
