Did the northern lights appear in Scotchland last night?I was so fecking envious. Had I been in the UK yesterday I would have hopped on the next plane to Norway and headed north as quickly as possible.

can't honestly answer that as I was under the influence at the time :Dmaybes aye..maybes naw! :)
aberdeen or nairn is the best place to see it and I was in nairn at the time but the lightshow was only for a short few seconds

living in norway as i doi can confirm that you'd have seen nowt, it was cloudy as anything around here. or it was when i was wandering around a bit earlier in the evening, anyway. i must confess that by the early hours of the morning i'd forgotten all about it :(
i've still never seen the northern lights. i'm going to go on up to tromso and find them around there. much more likely than here in the south.
