His character doesn't bother me -
I suspect he's more self aware than he lets on, so I just see him as someone with a good deadpan delivery (and better jokes than Ricky Gervais).
My problem with Idiot Abroad is that any documentary which clearly stages events for the sake of a plot just leaves me believing that none of it is real.
