# Am I being blind?
Do we know the current prices so we know if we have a chance of outbidding?

# It took me a while to get my head round the bidding system
It works like this: You bid the highest amount you would be prepared to go, i.e.: £75. But the current amount only goes up by one increment, so your highest bid wont be shown or known by anyone else. When the auction closes the person who put in the highest bid gets it at the final amount. So not nessarily their highest bid. Hence it's a 'blind,' auction.

I think that's right, Toasty?
