# I've watched that film all the way through *and* read the book
The film quite accurately captures the essence of the book, in that both are incredibly rubbish.

I suspect the hero in this is a bit of Mary Sue - Hubbard seeing himself as the brave, adventurous and noble hero battling the dishonorable establishment.
