it's not that bad once the board's loaded the first time, until someone posts a 400k anim, and your modem leaps out of your PC and starts trying to throttle you.

but it just means you have the control over how long you wait for the pictures to load.
Normally if it's a biggy, someone has a winge within 5 minutes.
