I found quite a good image source todaywww.photobox.co.uk (one of those print out your digi photos site (and a good one at that)) if you click on 'public galleries' then you get loads of peoples categorised images all about 500 pixels wide.

yeahi used to use community.webshots.com/ - they had some fantastic high res pics on there (designed for background), but the navigation interface was a bit pants... seems they've improved it a bit lately though..
