Dog Molestation
was not considered a crime when PC Gonad joined the Force.

try putting a dotcom
after it and you'll find out, I hear google is also useful for these things...
rudeness asside, it's a newsletter that's like heat with more of a fixation on wanking. It used to be hip.

tyronne's having problems with the dns too
have you tried a different browser / isp? that sometimes helps
(

Hmmm
I'll see if I haven't still got Opera on here and if that'll work...
Opera says it can't locate remote server.
(
Ijon Tichy, Sat 13 Sep 2003, 18:01,

i can't get it
either.

want to try a linky?
www.4rthur.com
(
Batsgirl, Sat 13 Sep 2003, 18:04,

your
ISPs DNS probably doesn`t have the IP address - and because the server will use virtual hosts, just using an IP address won`t work
(
Reckless_Rik, Sat 13 Sep 2003, 18:04,

So how
do I solve it?
(
Ijon Tichy, Sat 13 Sep 2003, 18:09,

You could try adding an entry
to your hosts file.
(
fuzzbucket, Sat 13 Sep 2003, 18:13,

yep
could do that - or use a different DNS
(
Reckless_Rik, Sat 13 Sep 2003, 18:14,

Uh-huh?
(
Ijon Tichy, Sat 13 Sep 2003, 18:15,

Like so:
WinNT/2K/XP
c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Win95/98
c:\windows\hosts
UNIX
/etc/hosts
Add the line
63.247.72.114
www.4rthur.com Then try
www.4rthur.com in your browser of choice. You could probably remove the entry after a day or two - your DNS should be up to speed by then.

And for sensible people like me
with a proper computer (Mac)?
Edit: My dinner's pretty much ready now, so I shall bugger off and have a fiddle with things later.
Cheers for the help though.

Dunno.
OSX is a UNIX isn't it? Try /etc/hosts...

I think PC Gonad
had cruel forebears. Or however that word isn't spelt. Now whar's me fiddle?
