# i think this
is lovely.

I thought i was really hungry and ordered a large pizza and garlic bread. Actually I'm not and have had 3 slices and feel really sick.

# The beauty of pizza,
is it's re-heatability.
(, Mon 13 Oct 2003, 18:08, archived)
# urgh
reheated pizza is foul
however cold pizza is one of the best foods on the planet
(, Mon 13 Oct 2003, 18:09, archived)
# i agree
sometimes i get a pizza and wait until its cold before i eat any of it.

Garlic bread is best hot though.
(, Mon 13 Oct 2003, 18:09, archived)
# i'm with you on the garlic bread
i'm missing these things though. it must have been at least 3 years since i last had a pizza. but then there's not many places which cook vegan pizzas. however i am told that there is somewhere in leeds which does them, but i'm yet to find it
(, Mon 13 Oct 2003, 18:12, archived)
# could you make your own?
the bases are vegan friendly right? And you can get vegan cheese quite easily?

Making pizza is quite fun i think.

# vegan cheese is awkward
soya milk doesnt heat very well when it gets above nicely warm, so i dread to think what cheese would be like
(, Mon 13 Oct 2003, 18:21, archived)
# oh
i'm pretty sure the cheese we get at my school is vegan and it's not too bad. I have it with jacket potatoes and it always melts fine/tastes alright.

Your friend seemed to be enjoying himself too?
(, Mon 13 Oct 2003, 18:22, archived)
# Yeah
he had fun, was just a little uncomfortable for a while cos he has very little idea about b3ta and I gave up on introducing him to people.
(, Mon 13 Oct 2003, 18:24, archived)
# that's a good point
I have absolutely no idea what he's called! We had a nice little chat though
(, Mon 13 Oct 2003, 18:29, archived)
# I tend
to trust people to introduce themselves, but this obviously doesn't work too well...

It was Ben, by the way.

# I think that depends
on HOW you reheat it.
(, Mon 13 Oct 2003, 18:15, archived)
# This is true.
Microwave reheating is most unsatisfactory.
(, Mon 13 Oct 2003, 18:16, archived)
# Oh Bloody god hell YES
Have you Round Table Pizza over there?

(In my mind the best pizza chain on the planet)
(, Mon 13 Oct 2003, 18:30, archived)
# cool

(, Mon 13 Oct 2003, 18:08, archived)
# Hurrah!
That's excelent!

And it's a compo entry which doesn't include "tescos value anything" so it scores bonus points in my book
