# "an investigation team is determining the cause of the incident"
i think it's a fairly open-and-shut case of fucktardery, really
(, Mon 12 Jan 2004, 15:00, archived)
# that's not the cause.
the cause probably involved lack of investment in the education system, and a fair amount of inbreeding... it was in suffolk, after all.

# A Duck Billed Eaglewolf? Woo!
And I'm sorry to TJ, but I have a serious question:
Like probably everyone I have a huge collection of very good images that appeared here, but of course I can't remember who did which one. I'm invited to show visual stuff on sunday afternoons in a club. What do you think about making a slideshow with all those images? I couldn't give credit to anybody in particular, but of course I'd put the b3ta logo and URL on the screen.
(, Mon 12 Jan 2004, 14:57, archived)
# provided you're not making money out of it
i'd imagine it would be fine.

why not collect the images you want to use, put them on your own website, and invite people to look at it, and if they ask you to take it down do so?
(, Mon 12 Jan 2004, 14:58, archived)
# i second that
you could use the web gallery thing in photoshop
(, Mon 12 Jan 2004, 15:00, archived)
# Of course I'd do it for amusement only,
I wouldn't earn a (Euro-) Cent with it. I'll think about that website idea - problem would be to make it popular enough without pissing everyone off by repeated posting.
(, Mon 12 Jan 2004, 15:00, archived)
# ask a mod to put it on the front page for a bit
they might do it!!
(, Mon 12 Jan 2004, 15:01, archived)
# There is always the point
that most of the original (pre shopped) images were stolen anyway so permission from the artist who shopped it would only be half.
SO what the others say is best, post them and ask people to own up.
(, Mon 12 Jan 2004, 15:04, archived)
# That gives me the idea
to put them up and connect the image collection to a database, so people can input their username if they did a particular image. I may do that then.
(, Mon 12 Jan 2004, 15:12, archived)
# If you had any of my images
(which I doubt), I'd be happy.

Maybe you could create some web pages with thumbnails to let forum members spot their own. Place the addy in your profile and let your username tell people that it's there...

just a thought.

# I'm more of a lurker than a regular
(I have a job and a social life to maintain... at least I pretend to), so I don't think enough people would see that. I guess I'll do that anyway. Thanks!

# You've embarassed me now
I have job + social life. Or at least I did the last time I looked. Admittedly that was ni 1997.
