# Good Friday
It is called good friday dear youth as it was on this day that Jesus saved us from what is called 'original sin', a sin that goes back to adam, and what we got to have true free will so redemption no matter how much jesus went through is good

# We need
photographic proof. You can't just make a claim like that and just expect us to believe you.

# I believe it
I really do

# How exactly
does humankind's torturing and murdering the supposed Son of God free humankind from sin? Surely it just adds a little more....?

And what about people who died before the original good Friday? Did they get a right old bollocking for their original sin?

Has anyone done a "Hot Cross Bunnies" pic yet? If not, why not!*

*apart from the fact its a crap primary school type joke

# It's very complicated
people do degrees in theology to understand this sort of stuff.

Before Jesus, well, they just had to wait before going to heaven I suppose.

# Well
I've done one in Philosophy of Religion and it still seems a bit odd to me. Oh well, woo and fluffiness to all! ;-)
(, Fri 9 Apr 2004, 22:56, archived)
# Well all the theologians I know
seem to be able to explain it.

I think I understand but I just can't think how to write it down just now.

# unless they lived proper dull lives they
burned in hell, with the rest of the billions and billions who had the crappy luck to be born in non-Judo-Christian areas.

# I suspect that's
not actually true

# why?
poor Ling Pei of China, 20 AD doesn't know a thing about Jebus. If Christianity is the one true religion, Ling Pei is rather screwed

# *scratches head*
I suspect a loving and forgiving God would be able to make a concession in such circumstances.
(, Fri 9 Apr 2004, 23:02, archived)
# not to get involved ina huge debate but...
"such circumstances" would be billions of people/souls over the years
(, Fri 9 Apr 2004, 23:03, archived)
# well
God's quite big
(, Fri 9 Apr 2004, 23:30, archived)
# but i suspect any form of reasoning
as to what happened to souls prior to mr. christ snuffing it to be very convoluted and created by the evil that is theology after the fact.
