..I bought some pitta breads for breakfast this morning. I had a quick read through the ingredients, and it said it contained parmesan, which is made from animal rennet. Now, I hadn't got a clue what animal rennet was, so I looked it up. Turns out that rennet is "the inner, or mucous, membrane of the fourth stomach of the calf, or other young ruminant; also, an infusion or preparation of it, used for coagulating milk". yeeeww
