EDIT:
Slight TJ, has anyone yet come up with a quick and easy way of removing the watermarks from the BBC's motion gallery clips, or do I have to do it the long and painful way?

# an easy way would be
to heavily optimize it so much that you cant make it out. or anything else, for that matter.

# i prefer the 250px gaussian blur approach

# Cunning.
But the overoptimisation technique reduces the filesize more.

# aye
but after a 250px gaussian blur, the chances of you wanting to post it are nil, thus rendering the filesize arguement null and void

# Photoshop
has a feature where you can import an mpeg film strip and select all frames and do a global edit. I used to use it a few years ago - can't remember the exact details.
