I invite you to join the pixel-swerve revolution...
Whilst creating my sites logo, I discovered a new area of art. I call it pixel-swerve. It involves creating pixel art, making it big so each pixel is relatively large and then using the 'warp' or 'swerve' (or something simalar) function on your photo editor (photoshop, paint shop pro etc etc etc) to... well, swerve or warp it. Now, that might sound quite boring, but the end effect is rather cool. I've played around with the idea for about 10 minutes and have come up with these two little gems:
Now, they might seem a bit... well, poor. Put it like this - I've never done more than one minute of pixel-art in my life (until now). Imagine what you can do (if you have done more than one minutes worth). I'd love to see other people try this. Oh, and they don't have to be completely pixel-art. Click here to see what Sheep! did to my pixel-swerve logo...
Go on, someone give it a go.
