you were doing it right
(you must have deconstructed one of mine :) I just increased the contrast, reduced the amount of movement per frame and speeded it up :)
edit: the noise was a side-effect of the lossy compression, not purposeful

ahh, ok...
i did have a look at one of yours... it's a mad effect from 4 frames...
right then... more contrast, less movement, more speed... will have to experiment a bit more :)
edit: have i gone too far? i may have eliminated the movement too much... i think i should play with something other than vectors
