"ring". You'd think someone in America would have clocked onto that before printing it in big letters on the posters....
If they wanted to call it "ringu", as ringu, they'd use hiragana instead.

Ring-oo
The UK release was simply called "Ring" - and it doesn't refer to the telephone ringing, it refers to the fact that the curse is circular. My understanding is that "Ringu" is simply the Japanese pronounciation of "Ring".
