If you ever go to Kirkwall go to the lodge there, they have a masonic museum, that has some very, very strange stuff and a very impressive tracing board.

they have a good wee bar there too, the only problem is if your not from orkney everyone keeps buying you drinks, usually quality whiskys, the last time I was there I took the Duchess in and we couldn't remember much of the evening or getting home.
