On another note, I watched The Deer Hunter last night... Amazing film but what the hell is the deal with the twisted patriotism thrown in in the last seconds? I nearly puked..

The "twisted patriotism" is ironic! They all suffered/died for a country in which they were all immigrants, in a pointless war, for a cause they didn't understand. I thought it was fairly obvious, but I've seen it far too many times...
