a lot of compos allow for a great range of variation where the shoppers imagination isn't stifled
but with some the goal is so specific that the variation is somewhat limited

I think this backfires
I have nothing against Americans. Some of my best friends are American [insert more cliches here] but I interpret this picture as meaning that Americans are arrogant, insular idiots who can't see that they are not perfect at everything and are not universally admired.
