back in my daywe had to trek 15 miles through the desert and the snow and swim through a phirana infested crocodile sanctuary just to get near to a telephone from where we had to talk in morse code (because the operator was blind and couldn't read) just to get a message through to our nan, who would only bring sandwiches if (and only if) we'd been to church three times out of every fourth sunday, so don't you tell me about the war, sonny jim!
