Did they give you the name of someone to hassle
if it doesn't turn up within 28 days?

it's kind of a difficult minefield at the mo
as there are others involved,
although from issue 161 they are apparently giving out individual credits to creators who tag their work.
Whether this means that the star image will have a duplicate prize automatically sent out to the creator whose work they have used is another matter,
but if they are prepared to acknowledge who created the image in a credit, then the prize 'should' be automatic, or you'd have thought so...
(
The Great Architect, Wed 14 Mar 2007, 15:57,

they'd make it simpler by just dropping the prizes.
But I ask because they're sending me my "prize" for reader winner apparently and I was given the name and email of the specific person who should be sending it out to hassle if it doesn't arrive.
Thet said the same to me about issue 161 too.

presuambly
it'll be a mention in the magazine, can't see them spending money they don't have to to credit talented folks

that's the beauty, they don't spend money, but their sponsors do :)
there are some ongoing disputes over creators and images at present,
some people have had dvd players and toasters etc sent out to them,
currently, if they acknowledge the star prize stuff of mine they've printed, I should be awaiting:
sony portable dvd player (around £200)
dvd boxset (around £35)
video ipod (around £165)
dvd (£12)
complete sat nav system (rrp £349.99 according to them this week)

i'm sure this has been discussed
and sorry if it's a thread-jack, but did anyone ever contact zoo, and what was their response?
They ever cropped out tags from people's images?

yes, they did crop out tags
there has been varied success with zoo, but
some helpful B3tans are helping to increase profit margins for zoo by giving them a handy guide on how to go about using virals..
