They only choose the ones that work....although the cretins might be more fun. I don't really watch TV, but Changing Rooms seemed to me to be the best for that. Get someone else in to decorate your own house? Just say no!
My favourite was the idiots who did a room in Christmas style (red and gold) at Christmas. You could just see the owners with buckets of paint behind their back thinking 'What about the other 51 weeks of the year?'
