# I went to read BBC news this morning while eating cornflakes
and was greeted by a close-up of a diseased sheep's mouth. Why couldn't they run a nice story on tubgirl or something instead?

# I still think the original storyline was good and would have been far better than the tripe 2 and 3 turned in to
but George Lucas had to go and listen to the whining fanboys and cut Jar Jar out of it.

Bah!

# All those hundreds of millions and years of production...
... on three full-lenth prequels, and all he needed to do was release that 2 second clip of Maul's
double-edged lightsaber igniting and nothing else and we'd have LOVED him.

# I think the first one is fine as long as you cut out the "Yippee"s and make Mauls ending a little less out of line with the rest of the fight
Jar Jar is no more annoying and kid orientated than R2 and 3PO in Ep4, Yoda in Ep5 and the Ewok in Ep6.

Complaining about it being a family movie is fucking stupid.

# I think alot of us older (thirty something) 'fanboys' forgot Lucas' original vision, in that it was intended as a children's film
that we enjoyed so much aged about six the first time onwards. Whilst I have issues with the Jar Jar character, I have to remind myself of the laughter and glee in the audience from certain age-groups whenever he was on screen

but there you go
