According to the FAQUpto 250kb is acceptable, those were 80/90 ish. I was only following the rules man.

yeah that's poorly worded FAQ thereit's taken to be 50kb max for stills and
250kb max for animations.

nah I don't think soit says: "anything up to 250 kb is acceptable."
So there is room for confusion. But they should read the next bit which says:
"Please do your best to keep filesizes as small as you can, ... A good joke won't be spoiled by a slightly lower quality image"
And these particular pics shouldn't be bigger than 20kb.
