A-levels are more 'corrupt' than GCSE's
A-Levels are just a passing ground to promote University, and nothing more. It's a centre to oil up the gears for future debt.
Kids of GCSE age are taught VERY little about options outside of A-Levels which can still give them qualifications which may help them better than A-Levels.
of course, next up are the TOTALLY pointless Diplomas that are coming up this september, which (having had to prepare documents, schemes of work and syllabuses for one) take about 50% of the usual course content away from the old traditional qualification, to give a more 'open' view to learning. Basically, it's cutting back 50% of 'relevant' info that these kids need to pursue a diploma in a given career path.
