im in sydney and a couple of years back queensland (the place where they bend bananas)got hit with a couple of big storms, which wrecked the banana crops, so they were a few dollars each for a while. they have come back to sensible prices though.

bananas are dying out apparently.For some reason they can't get new ones from seed, they can only take cuttings from existing plants, or something else I don't understand.
In 50 years time there won't be any bananas, or maybe there will.
