One day...
...thay'll invent a monitor made out of pins for blind people.
Like those things you can get, that are made out of pins. You know the ones.

See...
...I would have been great at inventing things, if I lived in the past.
They should also come up with some kind of self propelled carraige... one that doesn't need horses.

I saw DareDevil the other day
(poor me) and he had a blind computer. Instead of
a monitor, it instantly printed braille. Seemed feasible. A friend of mine was designing one a few years back, they probably have them by now.

At the end of that film...
...the journalist has written the article exposing Ben Affleck and his finger is hovering over the keyboard, where the print and delete buttons are right next to each other.
Do they really make keyboards like that? Surely that's just asking for trouble.

Eeeek.
Hollywood + computers.
Don't get me started.
I just got past the whole "noises in space" thing
when they started putting PCs in films.
The geek in me is crying.

Braille
Where I used to work (4-5 years ago) there was a blind guy. His PC told him what was on the screen and he used a braille keyboard that constantly chattered away making words for him to read with his fingers. I was always self-conscious about saying "See you later" - like I was rubbing his nose in his disability.

mr pedantic says
the printing plate needs to be reversed, or it would all appear backwards on the paper.
