I suspect you'd actually be disappointed nowadays
unless you have kids readily available to enjoy it with.
I did the same thing with lego though, I have a massive collection now.
This is my happy face :D

Comrade, we are all brothers in this pain
There are many, many, too many versions of the same sad story.
It's a pain that never escapes you, and a question forever unanswered.
Whhhhhhhy?!
Until you spend stupid money and get more

I never did :(
But I always enjoyed playing with them when we visited the ELC for some reason. Generally *not* to buy me a train set clearly...

I was like that with the yellow and red 'car' that you sat in and moved Flintstone style with your feet
It was one of the toys you could try if you went into our local ELC and my mum always told me we could go in 'on the way back, if you're good'. She admitted a few years ago that she took advantage of my young age and relative lack of direction to always take me home a different route, regardless of behaviour :(

The odd thing is there is no lego to been seen.

Lego is already a weapon of terror. standing on a bit at 4am is a worry - oh yes - thats pain.

You're 100% correct on the WMD known as 'Lego' though
you could take down a whole parental unit with just one of those babies, and your big brother. And yourself when you forgot.

That's what I was thinking of.
My nephew has a virtual Lego 3D program and it comes with exploding bricks.
